Emergency BPOs (EMTs)Emergency Med – Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is a collective term for various emergency medical services and emergency medical technicians. These services are used for the pre-hospital emergency medical treatment, transportation and evacuation of the sick and injured. They are not the same as EMS, which is a form of advanced life support.
Emergency BPOs include the services of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) and other EM-related services .
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are health care providers who are trained to provide basic life support and perform emergency medical procedures. EMTs are able to diagnose, stabilize patients, and treat injuries, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
